Run Time 90 minutes

Public Forum

Free and open to all

At the heart of every social justice movement is love: love in the face of adversity, love through the fear of stigma, and love under the threat of erasure. In the spirit of love, join poet, performer, and HIV advocate Timothy DuWhite alongside artist, author, and Editor-In-Chief of Hari Ziyad as they speak to the power radical love has had on their relationship and their fight for liberation.

In a climate of divisiveness and seclusion, Public Forum is opening its doors to invite audiences to join us every month for Civic Salons: a monthly gathering where we can come together in the spirit of community to nurture our minds and our bodies. Each month will feature a different theme and different participants who will bring readings, songs, and a keynote address— all chosen in the hopes of inspiring civic engagement and social change. Joe’s Pub will offer a full menu available for purchase.
