The Public Theater strives to make its performances and facilities accessible to all our patrons. ASSISTED LISTENING

All theaters at The Public are equipped with Infrared Assisted Listening Devices. Please speak to the House Manager upon your arrival at the theater to borrow an Assisted Listening Device. Please note guests are required to leave a Photo ID or Credit Card with the House Manager until the Assisted Listening Device is returned. Supplies are limited.

Anspacher Theater

  • The majority of the seats in The Anspacher are only accessible by stairs and wheelchair locations are limited due to the size of the theater.
  • Accessible seating for The Anspacher is available for purchase by calling the Taub Box Office as well as online in our Select Your Own Seats Map and Best Available Seat Cart.
  • Guests who have difficulty climbing and/or ascending stairs, face challenges with their vision or depth perception and finally may be attending the performance with a service animal are encouraged to contact the box office for additional assistance when purchasing their tickets.
  • In addition if you arrive at the theater and still have concerns about accessing your seats please feel free to speak to a member of the Front of House Staff.

LuEsther Hall

  • Accessible seating for The LuEsther is available for purchase by calling the Taub Box Office as well as online in our Select Your Own Seats Map and Best Available Seat Cart.
